Fundraiser at Coral Gables Congregational United Church
of Christ for an evening of fun and solidarity that will
include a cocktail party, raffles, silent auctions, and
entertainment for 200 guests. Our goal is to raise
$100,000 to provide quality education to the 500
children attending Ecole Nouvelle Zoranje (ENZ)
at Cite Soley, Haiti.
ECOLE NOUVELLE ZORANJE
PRODEV immediately joined the rebuilding efforts in the aftermath
of the devastating earthquake of 2010, that devasted Haiti, killing
over 300,000 and destroying more than 80% of schools in affected
areas. Prior to the earthquake, PRODEV worked exclusively with
incarcerated children, advocating for a more humane and dignified
treatment of underaged inmates.

We provided assistance to internally displaced children by creating
educational spaces in camps. We built our first school, Ecole Nouvelle
Zoranje, in a community where hundreds of displaced families had
found new homes. Located in the heart of the Village de la
Renaissance near Cite Soleil, Ecole Nouvelle Zoranje, was the answer
to the prayers of families concerned about the lack of accessible and
affordable schools in their community.
Haitian parents brave the odds everyday by sending their
children to school . To them education is the only solution
solving Haiti’s challenges. PRODEV continues to honor their
courage by providing quality education in communities
at the epicenter of violence.
